What the stars wore for the 2013 Grammy’s:
Nicole Kidman by Vera Wang. nice dress, interesting transparency, doesn’t really inspire me much but it looks good on her.
Rihanna by Azzedine Alaïa. A real red carpet moment, she got a dress as fiery as her temper and they blend well. I’d say the second best dress i saw, pure wow.
Solange Knowles by Ralph & Russo Couture. Colour blocking with the green and coral, nice simple elegance with great colours to bring it home.
Stings really brings this look some added flair with the amazing boots + scarf and I bet he was better dressed and looking than fashionistas half his age. His wife looks very stylish too and nice necklace.
Taylor Swift by J. Mendel. The dress is great, Swift on the other hand needs to gain some pounds because it looks terrible over the chest… love the silver detailing.
Adele by Valentino Couture, I think the dress made a good job of hiding her weight and it looks really nice, BUT i do belive that it looks slightly like the dress is wearing her rather than her the dress, kind of overpowering her.
Alexa Chung by Valentino Red, a nice simple floral dress i belive would be better suited for a day in the park than the red carpet. The shoes did not help at all…
Alicia Keys by Azzedine Alaïa, looking sexy rock star style, original and stylish.
Allison Williams by Kaufmanfranco, pure wow, the perfect red carpet dress. By far the most elegant dress of what i saw.
Beyoncé by Osman, I thought it was all about the dresses, apparently Beyoncé thought differently, and hat’s off to her, very elegant, and black and white is huge for spring/summer so way to go, plus the bracelets look super cool and liven the outfit up.
Carly Rae Jepsen by Roberto Cavalli, pretty nice dress, being Roberto Cavalli I kind of miss something animal printish but he can’t be over the top all the time.
Carrie Underwood by Roberto Cavalli, another Cavalli dress, I really like the lace print, and it looks good in general.
Genelle Brooks x Love Collins, like the colours, the space invaders inspired print not so much. Looks super chaotic…
Faith Hill by J. Mendel, great cut and even though i think the printed stripes look like a bacteria cultivation I’ll give this a thumbs up.
Florence Welch by Givenchy Haute Couture, nicknamed the dino dress by Vogue, I can’t but help think it would be better served without the horns, cool colour and shine though, love the clutch.
Janelle Monae with an Against Nature vest and shirt, a Moschino jacket and a Ralph Lauren hat. A very theatrical look but she looks to have the attitude to pull it off, I’ll give her extra cred for being highly original
Jennifer Lopez by Anthony Vaccarello. I wish J-Lo could surprise everyone and wear something that covered her body… Looks like someone took a piece of cloth and just put a scissor to it, terrible.
Justin Timberlake by Tom Ford. What can i say, Tom Ford does an amazing job, Justin Timberlake is VERY lucky to have that guy in his corner. Perfection.
Karlie Kloss by Michael Kors. It’s a nice dress, on someone else… She is way too thin to be showing all that skin. and I don’t think that blue goes well with her complexion.
Katy Perry by Gucci. A simple dress made special with the collar detailing and maybe the big cleavage… Great colours and nice touch with the ring.
Kelly Osbourne by Paule Ka. Pretty decent dress, good cut.
Kelly Rowland by Georges Chakra. Well this one brings word wow to mind, a lot of transparencies and geometrical patterns, good cut and i I wouldn’t call it vulgar.
Red Foo doing what he does best, livening up the place. Velvet from top to toe and a groovy necklace. the knickerbockers are a great nod to not being conformist and serious, way to go.
